Doing Business God's Way: put God first

Is Time Passing You By Without The Success You Dreamed Of Achieving?

If you're a Christian and you're not experiencing the kind of business or career success the Bible promises, you need to learn why. You may be at the point of giving up, but before you do anything that drastic, first look to God.

Scripture throughout the Bible gives the promise of success in all that we do, including our business endeavors, so if you're not succeeding, then you need to look at what message from the Bible you need to apply to your life and your business.

You can't have a successful business in Christ and live any way you choose. First you have to get your life together by centering upon Christ and then everything else you do will begin to fall into place and yield the success you desire. The best way to begin is to know for sure that God does indeed want you to succeed in life and business.

Some Christians don't believe that God desires for His children to succeed, so I'm going to use the same verses from Deuteronomy 28 that I used in my last post only this time I'll include verses 1-13. These are verses I've used to build faith that God wanted me to succeed. There are many others throughout the New and Old Testaments, but these verses cover success in everything.

Deuteronomy 28:1-13 (ASV)

28 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of Jehovah thy God, to observe to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that Jehovah thy God will set thee on high above all the nations of the earth:

²and all these blessings shall come upon thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of Jehovah thy God.
³Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.
⁴Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy beasts, the increase of thy cattle, and the young of thy flock.
⁵Blessed shall be thy basket and thy kneading-trough.
⁶Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.
⁷Jehovah will cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thee: they shall come out against thee one way, and shall flee before thee seven ways.
⁸Jehovah will command the blessing upon thee in thy barns, and in all that thou puttest thy hand unto; and he will bless thee in the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee.
⁹Jehovah will establish thee for a holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee; if thou shalt keep the commandments of Jehovah thy God, and walk in his ways.
¹⁰And all the peoples of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of Jehovah; and they shall be afraid of thee.
¹¹And Jehovah will make thee plenteous for good, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which Jehovah sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
¹²Jehovah will open unto thee his good treasure the heavens, to give the rain of thy land in its season, and to bless all the work of thy hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.
¹³And Jehovah will make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if thou shalt hearken unto the commandments of Jehovah thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them,

The verses above describe the life you should be living. You should have success in your life, with your children (verse 4, fruit of thy body), your money, your business, career and even the every day things that you do.

You're At An Important Crossroads Of Your Life!

Now you know, if you didn't already, that God has made you a success. You were created to be on top of all your circumstances, but you have to fulfill one condition. You have to obey God's Word as you learn it. So let's begin where you are at this moment. If you don't know anything else about the Bible, you now know that you have a choice to succeed or fail. Verse 14 from Deuteronomy 28 makes it clear that if you don't follow God's Word, you choose the way of failure.

The question you have to answer right now is which way you want to go. The choice is yours. You're at the crossroads of success or failure. Which path do you wish to take?

Put God First In Your Business and Life

Many Christians are living with financial difficulties, career or job disappointment and a lack of joy in their work and lives. There could be many reasons for this, but the answer for turning a boring job or failing business into a successful and prosperous part of your life can happen by taking two steps with God:

obey God's will and purpose for your life
put and keep God at the center of your life and business

The question for you today if you're having problems making ends meet or getting ahead in your career, business or ministry, is how can you make the two steps above relevant in your life Life today! That's what this site is all about. This information mixed with my life purpose lessons will empower you to live the life of your dreams.

Life is busy--especially with young families, church, keeping up with your business or job and making time for God. In fact for many, making time for God is one of the first activities of the day to put off and perhaps eliminate in order to make time for everything else that has to be done within a day.

This site was created to show you that you can't afford to put God last or eliminate Him from your day. When you do, your life will be out of sync with God. This means that whatever you do will not be backed by the power and authority of God to bless and prosper you.

So how do you learn to prioritize for God first without letting the rest of your life fall apart? It's not that difficult to prioritize for God, but you have to be willing. If you don't feel inclined to put God first, and your life and business aren't going the way you would like, then you you need to make a change for God and with God. He'll help you all the way. Trust Him first and you'll experience great results.

You trust God by faith, believing that He will make the changes in you, your life and your business that are needed so that He can bring you to the right places, people and opportunities to bless you. The more you obey His leading, the more your life will be blessed, and most important, the more you will be a blessing to others.
